Some of you may be wondering why crypto billionaires are pumping so much money into Reform. Perhaps dear Mr Harborne was being utterly truthful when he said that his bung to reform was “a philanthropic gift to our country”. Or perhaps he is testing the dimness of Reform supporters to breaking point. Not a high bar really.

The electorate aren’t stupid. They know it stinks to high heaven, and  can see through the lie that these donations are without strings. Yet few seem to have done much scrutiny of just what’s in it for Harborne, Dello and posh George. Well, I treated my self to a six oyster lunch, washed down with lashings of Guinness  and champagne with Mr Google, and this is what he told me.

Reform UK’s plans, for crypto are as follows:

Reduce capital gains tax on eligible crypto assets down to 10% from up to 24%.

Establish a sovereign bit coin digital reserve fund at the Bank of England.

Make it illegal for high street banks to restrict services or close accounts for individuals or close accounts for individuals or companies legally transacting in crypto currency.

Allow HMRC to accept tax liabilities paid directly in approved crypto currencies.

Oppose central bank digital currency. Strongly oppose the Bank of England’s plans for a digital pound (Britcoin) due to personal privacy and  financial freedom concerns.

And most sinister of all, streamline and scale back anti money laundering and regulatory rules surrounding digital assets.

No strings attached eh? A patriot’s gift to save Britain from the horrors of democracy? Patriots who don’t spend much time in the homeland they want to make great again.

Party funding has always been a bit whiffy, but this is nothing more than fabulously wealthy men bidding to buy a potential government. Very Trump but decidedly un British. In the general scheme of things a bung of £36 million every now and again is the equivalent Harborne/Dello lunch bill. Small potatoes. They are all professional gamblers, to run a government is worth a punt.

Of course Reform worshippers will  bleat that nobody cares, it’s all smears by the establishment and fake news by MSN and their Uniparty clients. But this is pretty serious stuff. There must be scrutiny. And there should be a commission involving all parties to drain the party funding swamp before the next general election.

Some will say that this is just levelling up. After all the Tories are funded by business and Labour by the Trade Unions. Yet this is very, very different. Fabulously wealthy men  becoming even more fabulously wealthy by making a modest  investment. As Nigel might say, “bang for your bucks. Boom”.

Of course, these fabulously wealthy men have a deep interest the in forgotten, the patronised and the politically dispossessed. So what will the people of Romford, Clacton and the down trodden Northern wastelands make of it all? I suspect that will begin to feel a little queasy as will the die hard Conservatives who have been bedazzled by the Farage circus. Well, the wheels are coming off the clown car.

And what does Lee Anderson really think about this? Crypto currency isn’t the slightest bit working class. And what of that malignant, self righteous little toad Yusuf ? I suspect these two are too busy trying to align themselves with the face covered thugs who think it is patriotic to threaten RNLI volunteers, without too much political damage. But all of this dodgy money washing around might be the straw that breaks Farage’s reign. It’s early days. They are out to get him. And the crypto gamblers hope to get us.
